Journey Greeting Card Set

Art is used to enhance our hands-on curriculum and provide creative outlets for our students at Grain of Rice Academy. Visits to the art room are a highlight of the day for most students. The ability to provide intentional art instruction, as well as the materials to design and create student pieces is one of the ways that Grain of Rice Academy differs from typical Kenyan educational settings.

These art pieces were created by students in Grades 3 and 5 during art class and were displayed in the Grain of Rice Academy Art Show. Students had been learning about different environments, landscapes, and seascapes and these pieces were created as a means of demonstrating their learning.

The proceeds from the sale of these card sets return to Grain of Rice Academy to help us provide materials and resources to further enhance student creativity and learning.
