Bloom Postcard Set

Art is used to enhance our hands-on curriculum and provide creative outlets for our students at Grain of Rice Academy. Visits to the art room are a highlight of the day for most students. The ability to provide intentional art instruction, as well as the materials to design and create student pieces is one of the ways that Grain of Rice Academy differs from typical Kenyan educational settings.

The art used in this postcard set was created by students during art class and was displayed in the Grain of Rice Academy Art Show. Students had been learning about plants and floral art; these pieces were created as a means of demonstrating their learning.

Each set includes 5 different postcards.  The proceeds from the sale of these card sets return to Grain of Rice Academy to help us provide materials and resources to further enhance student creativity and learning.
