At Grain of Rice Academy in Kenya, we use a cross curricular approach and often incorporate cooking into our science and writing lessons. Your donation helps provide fun experiences like cooking applesauce, pancakes, vegetable soup, pizza, muffins, mushrooms, and more. These activities are often students' favorite memories of their year. At home, most people cook over a small wood or gas burner. So using an oven and stovetop are brand new experiences!
